A Micro-Short with a Micro-Budget, ‘Gentle’ is set within a harsh, rough bedroom of a volatile couple. The visual language was centred around conflicting textures, with a real timber floor, concrete patterned walls, tiles, textiles and paintwork. In terms of dressing, it was minimal , following the story of what had happened the night before the argument took place. This allowed the acting and close ups to speak for themselves without distracting the eye. Please enjoy the below stills!
